remix #1 is one the favorites of the entire project. claude met brazils dj marky on an artist bus at a uk festival last summer and gave him the track >aundy<. he asked him to do a mix and marky and his friend s.p.y. turned in this amazing drum n bass version. numerous artists have been dropping it even in the middle of house sets! it really captures the drum n bass feeling of the original track taking it back to the genre which inspired it.
remix #2 is from our up and coming bristol based bass prodigy, julio bashmore. he takes on >california< the co-production by cvs and j phlip to another level, adding smooth low end bukem style bass drops and shimmery vox/pad programming to the already insane track. bashmore is one of the few new breed of uk producers who cross over all the way from house to dubstep.

croatian nu-disco/funk/boogie overlord ilija rudman has swung by around here. once more he is spinning his audio gems on the legendary bearfunk label. this time is the ever so funky new release soul embrace . ilija gets his niles rogers hat on and peppers this sparkler with chingy-funk guitar. add in some big rolling, dx-style, chugger bass and lashes of darting percussion and there you have it...floor-filler dynamite. the original mix and the spectacularly 80 s styled extended mix make an appearance. our man also goes straight for the beat jugular with his drum, beat and percussion heavy bonus beats mix. to round things off, label head bear, stevie kotey, takes on the remix duties. he brings some real bass along to the party and new layers of slick keys. turning down the floor quotient just a notch, this one is pure slow-burn disco done well, very well.

we would like to dedicate this release to our colleague and good friend aaron-carl who passed away on the 30th of september 2010. during the whole process of creating and thinking this record with ivel, aaron has been supportive from day one. he was a great musician and an amazing human being. his loss has affected all of us. it is very sad to think that this will probably be his last remix to come out, thus making this record and his remix even more meaningful. out of all the words aaron could have chosen out of martin luther kings speech for this remix, he chose the phrase >i just want to do gods will<. i think that god, if theres one, has called him by his side way too early. life will continue, aaron-carl and his music will stay in our hearts

after having released >salson< on our 10 years raum compilation already, damian schwartz returns with his first solo single on our label. >pedro< which is also the title of this record is a deep techno track that is based on a hypnotic piano sequence. >badabambu< is more house orientated and like for >salson< damian gets support from guti who has played the synths for this tune. last but not least this release also features a remix of >pedro< by none other than daniel stefanik which is adding some more peak time flavour while still staying close to the original. enjoy !

after a strong start this year with a unique ep by queen atom, alias cesare vs disorder (special edits by seuil and ahmet sisman) serialism comes back on the dancefloor with a stunning ep by london new comer pablo tarno.
pablo joined the serialism / mean / essential reload crew as moforize (does that ring a bell?) and delighted our public with a pearl on production side as well by giving refined dj sets. the ep is powerful, every tune is a classic, ranging from beautiful elegant deep house to percussive tech house with hip hop, dub, funk and techno influences.

once again another masterpiece from the dynamic reflection squad in your face! this time its from the uk monster voidloss. the title track acteon is already an oldy and paul felt in love with it a long time ago. it was already digital released in 2007, but we asked voidloss if he wanted to see this on pure gold as well... and of course he wanted that! so why dont we put up an whole ep with more dancefloor killers of this man? grovskopa is always capable of delivering good remixes and so he did. this time something a little bit different then what you expect, but with this track he shows us what an open mind he has on techno. rolling crunchy basslines and smooth pads bring this track in a perfect vibe to set the tone for the night. moment of total emptiness is a more deeper and hypnotic tune, but will definitely bang your head on the dancefloor. mr. a. paul is going for the rework and came up with a really great uplifting and oldschool touch. perfect tool to use in your dj sets! all n all a superior release by this uk studio wizard. lets pray for more of this pure quality stuff and keep our eyes on the the future. the scene need more labels like this which reflects the current techno movement and promises loads more of that sweet stuff in days to come.. dynamic reflection will represent only the true spirit of pure techno, they will put only the quality stuff back on the dancefloor!

after a brief production hiatus on the zurich based cityfox label, cadenza once again welcome swiss based duo digitaline back in to the fold for our 55th release.

our dutch counterpart onno is known for his dance floor mastery. his after school ep on upon you was a multifunctionalmover that could teach any lethargic raver a few aerobic moves. >hit me< is in the same league and is completely unsuitable for yoga and pilates, so hes succesfully targeted the blonde dance instructor once again. onno brings the a1 fatburner to a peak with his charming impertinence. thomas schuhmachers pimped version of this awesome rave stepper on b1 tugs and pulls at your pants dragging you kicking and screaming to the dance parquet, where you soon realize that you never want to leave, but for those of you that want to lose some weight also know that you always need to condition yourself and >ghetto talk< on b2 is the perfect bouncy tune for that hour or so on the treadmill.

mr. ho delivers exactly what we want: soulful house music, jacking and funky with kicks directly aiming at our lazy bums! pol_on, known from releases for get physical, connaisseur, mothership and freerange, transform the track into an irresistible builder, made to push all clouds of autumn away to let the sun shine straight into our faces.

cosmin trg is back with his 2nd release in the direct current series on rush hour. this time he loses the steppy beats and turns out two fierce house tracks, yet he keeps his signature cut up r&b samples and the future attitude. trg is fast becoming one of our favorite new house producers

not content to simply sit back and watch his 1605 baby grow from strength to strength, label head umek makes it a strong point to make regular contributions to our output and so he has obliged with the imaginatively titled >omgwtf< track. a superb new composition from mr 1605 himself, >omgwtf< is everything one can expect from umeks sonic arsenal. funky, pounding, innovative, fresh and a surefire dancefloor mover. if the title is anything to go by, we d say you have been warned!

orange it is. our second release has hit the shops and the first reactions are great. again we collected some very interesting tunes from all over the world. expect banging house music as well as some relaxed and groovy stuff for me and the ladies. this time we have four tracks instead of three and even though this fact calls for a campaign under the motto >get 33% more...< we still serve music and no cleaning agent.

this part of the urban graffiti saga focuses on the elements that make up our sound. covering all aspects, these tracks have been sourced from some of the most prolific artists in the scene over a period of time right up until the present, almost cataloging the progression of the scene as far as this side is concerned. this will take on the form of two 3-track eps with two additional tracks available for free download. if that isnt enough, we are also going to be giving away a free mix courtesy of d-man and h.o.d featuring tracks from the elements series including exclusives and forthcoming material.

jamal moss presents kuba sojka, a new star rising from the mathematics imprint. with his debut ep, he brings 4 tracks of the most compelling house & tech that we have heard in a while. includes desert expedition, life choice, fullness for life & bright shadow of a star. jamal played this at our office party in july and we knew we had to rush it out. one of the best records we have heard in a long time. gonna be big!

next up on nang we get tooled up with our disco pick-axe to mine one of the most authentic italo vaults, that of once-forgotten-but-now-hero-again beppe loda. having begun djing in brescia aged 16, loda was resident at gambaras soon to be legendary typhoon club from 1980 until the club closed in the same year as the paradise garage, a year before acid house officially began in 1987.

hers is the most anticipated debut album of 2010 and her name is on everybodys lips. seldom before has a young artist so captivated the attention of a generation that she personifies. >the ultimate it girl<, >the new electro pop sensation<, >totally in tune with the spirit of the times<: these are just a few quotes from her reviewers. the delayed >sex dreams and denim jeans< is finally complete. uffie took her time, for after years of continuous whirlwind she needed to take a step back, put her bags down and concentrate on her writing.

its been 18 months since our first nang release, d-pulses >more<. nestled on that release was an extra ep track called >highway to saturn<. much to our delight it turned out to be a bit of a gem. when it featured on the tirk 02 and kitsune ponystep / jerry bouthier compilations we knew we were all onto something. (cue the overdrive and the interstellar vocal.) slovenian-based, us singer, hannah mancini, provides those cosmic vocals, ably recorded by sare havlicek in sunny ljubljan. after a sly re-titling of the track (to avoid confusion with the original the name has been extended to >on a highway to saturn<) its on to the obligatory over-the-top nang remix package...first up is a new version from d-pulse for those long summer nights. their >australian shore reversion< mix slows down the groove to a balmy evening by noosa shores pace. space-rock, guitar solos, smouldering synths and lazy rhythms all combine to make this one for the beach house. sare havlicek adds a couple of mixes of his own. keeping things hi-energy he goes for the disco jugular with his trademark stabby synths and tight production. nang newcomers, proper heat, strip things back and go for a slow-grooving baltic-disco chugger. rounding off the remix package is japanese based jan ken po (aka max essa). he delivers a dance floor friendly version with a big and bold walking bass riff and tasteful synths
